Shaped for the Everyday

Shaped for the Everyday

Hibi means “daily” in Japanese. This cabinet was designed for the kind of storage you reach for often — tableware, records, or the small objects that gather in a home. The rattan doors keep the contents subtly visible while allowing air to circulate. Each frame is built with hand-cut joinery in a Kyoto workshop, finished with a light oil that will deepen in colour with time.
